BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. Turkmenistan has increased import of plastics and rubber products from EU countries from January through October 2022, Trend reports with reference to Eurostat.
According to the information, during this period Turkmenistan imported over 2,610 tons of plastics and rubber products from EU countries, which is 47.4 percent higher than in the first 10 months of 2021 (1,770 tons).
In value terms, Turkmenistan imported plastics and rubber products worth over 12.26 million euros from EU countries, which is 1.2 percent more than from January through October 2021 (12.42 million euros).
Meanwhile, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and the EU countries amounted to 816.94 million euros in the first 10 months of 2022.
