The UK considered attracting labor resources from Uzbekistan on conditions created for citizens of the countries of the European Union, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek embassy in the UK.
The Uzbek Embassy in London organized online negotiations between the Deputy Director of the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan Fayzulla Khodjaev and the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Labor Providers (ALP) David Camp.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the field of external migration between the two structures.
It was noted that there is a potential for attracting Uzbek specialists to the UK for seasonal work on conditions created for citizens of the countries of the European Union.
It is reported that an agreement was reached on the exchange of additional information, holding separate negotiations between potential British employers and the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan for the practical implementation of the plans.
Founded in 2004, ALP is a not-for-profit association of companies engaged in the recruitment of labor in various sectors of the UK economy, including from overseas. More than 400 companies operating in the sectors of food processing, construction, logistics, agriculture and others are consumers of ALP services in the UK.
