BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 21. The value of services provided to the population of Uzbekistan from January through September 2022 worth 253.8 trillion soums ($22.7 billion), which is an increase of 49.1 trillion soums ($4.4 billion) compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The value of communication and information services in this period amounted to 16.3 trillion soums ($1.5 billion), transport services – 55.5 trillion soums ($4.9 billion), trade services – 63.7 trillion soums ($5.7 billion), financial services – 58.6 trillion soums ($5.2 billion).
From January through September 2022, the largest volume of services was provided to residents of Tashkent city, the smallest volume was provided to residents of the Syrdarya region.
During this period, the volume of services provided per capita amounted to 7.1 million soums ($638).
