Muhammedtagi Khalaji who was close to late Ayatollah Muntaziri and Ayatollah Saneiyi and criticized the Iranian government was arrested in his house in Gum city Jan.13, the Jarash Newspaper, media organ of the reformist camp, reported.
His son Mehdi Khalaji confirmed father's arrest, saying that he is not aware of the reasons of his father's arrest.
Khalaji has made a speech in the Darul Zahra mosque where reformists meet in Tehran for the last two or three months.
