Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will not attend the International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism to be held in Tehran on June 25-26, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Sagayan was quoted as saying by the Fars news agency.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will not attend the International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism to be held in Tehran on June 25-26, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Sagayan was quoted as saying by the Fars news agency.

Sargsyan will visit Kazan to participate in a tripartite meeting to resolve the Karabakh conflict, Sagayan said. Armenian Security Council chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan will attend the Tehran conference.

The International Conference on Global Fight against Terrorism to be held under the chairmanship of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to bring together high-level officials from 60 countries.

On June 24, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will arrive in Kazan for the traditional race of the Russian President at the invitation of President Dmitry Medvedev, the official Russian presidential website announced on Monday.

The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement is planned to be discussed within the next tripartite meeting.
