Indonesia has announced its readiness to commission the Hengam Petrochemical Complex in Pars Special Economic and Energy Zone, south of Iran, the Iranian National Petrochemical Company official Abdolhossein Bayat said.
Abdolhossein Bayat told Mehr news agency that the construction operations of the complex will be started soon.
Iran and Indonesia sign their first joint venture agreement for the Hengam Complex in 2008.
The production capacity of the complex is 1.7 million tons of urea and ammonia per year.
