Iran on Thursday denied being behind the deadly attack on Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, dpa reported with the reference to the news network Al-Alam.
"Iran denies any involvement and condemns any terrorist attack on the lives of innocent people as inhuman," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said.
The spokesman added that it was custom of the Israeli government to accuse other countries in such cases "for covering its own terrorist nature."
