(IRNA) - Information Minister Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei said here Saturday night that any US attack on Iran will endanger its economic, political and social interests as well as its survival.

"Every country which intends to attack Iran should know that it will pay huge costs," he said in the `Conference of Loyalists to Islamic Values'.

He said the US threats are without base, adding, "The US does not dare launch attack on Iran because in that case, all its vital interests will be endangered by Iran ... We will target its interests in all parts of the world."

The minister added, "After failure of military threats (against Iran), enemies of Iran used certain political moves and domestic issues and different figures to cause insecurity in the country, reports Trend.

"But the Information Ministry neutralized all their conspiracies." He said, "The Islamic Republic of Iran has proved that threats of the enemies are futile thanks to national resolve to stand up to such threats."

Pointing to inaction of certain international organizations, Mohseni-Ejei added, "Unfortunately, the United Nations Security Council along with arrogant states threaten Iran.

"But the Iranian nation will show more resistance as pressures are mounted.

"Today, Iran has achieved complete nuclear technology. No country can deprive us of this modern and national technology."
