(IRNA) - EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana embarks Wednesday on a six-day tour of the Middle East that will take him to Palestinian Authority- controlled territories, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. Solana will discuss with political leaders latest developments in the region, said a statement issued by his office Tuesday evening, reports Trend.
He will concentrate in particular on efforts towards an early resumption of the dialogue between the two parties to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict, it added.
