Iran will establish four biomass power stations.
Javad Nasiri, an official with the Renewable Energy Organization of Iran (SANA), said the power stations will be established in the cities of Tehran, Sari, Rasht, and Noshahr, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on October 19.
Biomass is fuel that is developed from organic materials, a renewable and sustainable source of energy used to create electricity or other forms of power.
