Georgia, Tbilisi/corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The monastery of Saint Trinity located in the ancient section of Tbilisi has been robbed and the thieves stole some 600 lari from the cash desk of the monastery.
The thieves also stole money from the donation box and removed a necklace from the icon of Saint Trinity. Church staff say that the thieves hid in the church during the night and in the morning broke open the doors and escape.
A case has been filed and an inquiry is being held.
