Large-scale infrastructure and rehabilitation works has been launched in Tskhaltubo.

President described Tskhaltubo as the center of medical tourism.
"Tskhaltubo is the greatest healing spa resort," he said, noting that the city will have twenty-four-hour water supply, new hotels will be constructed and damaged and depreciated sanatoriums will be restored.
"Tskhaltubo will be my favorite project from now on," Saakashvili said.
