We cannot give the current government of Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili four years, Secretary General of the United National Movement and former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili said at the meeting with refugees from Abkhazia.
He also stressed that "this does not mean a preparation for a coup, but implies weakening of this power using various methods, including street protests and weakening governmental institutions. "
"I have to say directly that we will not wait for another 4 years," Merabishvili said.
Giving the main rival of Mikheil Saakashvili in the presidential election in 2008 Levan Gachechiladze as an example, Merabishvili said if such a candidate would come to power, "we could wait for another 4 years."
