Israel, Jerusalem, 12 November / Trend corr. A.Gut / On 11 November Israeli President Shimon Peres and King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah participated in the international conference in Dialogue of Religion & Civilization, dedicated to reconciliation of religion, The Israeli Presidential Administration told Trend .
Besides Peres and King Abdullah, Presidents of the United States, Lebanon, Pakistan, as well as King of Bahrain, Emir of Kuwait, King of Jordan, Premiers of Yemen, Qatar and Italy, and chairmen of the Palestinian Autonomy took part in the conference. A total of 17 heads of states and governments participated in the conference.
At present President Peres is in the United States to participate in the international conference on Dialogue of Religion & Civilization, which is being held under the aegis of the United Nations from 11 November to 13 November. The conference targets to advance lasting dialogue amongst representatives of the world religions.
