( dpa ) - The Jordanian government on Friday condemned the Palestinian attack on a Jewish religious seminary and the recent Israeli operations which killed Palestinian civilians.
" Jordan rejects and condemns all operations that target civilians who belong to any nationality," Minister of State for Information Affairs and Communication Nasser Judeh said.
Eight Israeli students were killed and 10 others wounded when a Palestinian gunman opened fire on the Jewish school reportedly in retaliation for the deaths of more than 110 Palestinians during Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past week.
Judeh said that the Jerusalem shooting and the recent Israeli operations which killed Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip "should be condemned because they impede peace efforts, fuel violence and counter-violence and lead to more hatred, killings and destruction."
