AMY WINEHOUSE's father MITCH has issued a stark warning to his troubled daughter - urging her to give up drugs or face a "long, slow, painful death", the CM reported.
The Back to Black hitmaker has endured a long battle with her addictions ї including a stint in rehab earlier this year (08).
She has since suffered a string of health problems including a bout of infectious skin condition impetigo.
Most recently, the singer was hospitalised in June (08) after collapsing at her home and was subsequently diagnosed with traces of deadly lung disease emphysema.
Now her dad, Mitch Winehouse, has said beehive-wearing Amy must give up her party lifestyle once and for all.
He says, "She will die. But it won't be from a drugs overdose. She will die from emphysema. That will be the most likely scenario if she doesn't check her behaviour. We are talking about a long, slow, painful death - gasping for air. I would like all the people who would give her illegal substances to think about that."
