Car full of explosives found in Kabul, airstrikes in Ghazni, battle in Nangarhar

Afghanistan, Kabul, 9 November / Corr. Trend A.Hakimi / KABUL police found a car full of explosives in police district five, Kabul, on Sunday.

Explosive vests and remote controlled bombs were among the haul, police said.

The driver of the car escaped the scene.

In Ghazni, a US-led airstrike killed 20 Taliban, including two commanders, according to the governor's spokesman.

In Nangarhar, seven Taliban militants and one civilian were killed in a joint NATO-led and Afghan Army operation last night, according to Huchen's district chief, Abdul Wahab Momand(pajwack).
