Three militants killed in Indian Kashmir
Three suspected Muslim militants were killed in clashes with security forces in Indian-administered Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.
Two died during a military operation launched Friday night in Shiopian district, 50 kilometres south of the state capital, Srinagar, reported DPA.
An unidentified militant was killed Saturday in a clash with security forces in Sopore, near Srinagar.
The disputed Kashmir region is divided into two parts, one administered by India and the other by Pakistan.
Indian-administered Kashmir has experienced two decades of secessionist activities in which more than 45,000 people have died
