(ForUm) - Ukraine's parliamentarians have backed the governmental resolution on dismissal of Borys Tarasyuk from the post of Foreign Minister of Ukraine by 244 votes, reports Trend.

SPU faction considers that Tarasyuk's position splits Ukraine and consolidates only small part of Western Ukraine. This position is wrong. Tarasyuk must understand and take into account that Ukraine is a big country. SPU supports his dismissal, SPU member Vasyl Volga said.

The President mistakes committing foreign policy to Tarasyuk. Unfortunately President Yushchenko does not want to become a President of the whole Ukraine. He is still the President of Western Ukraine, the deputy added.
