Steel was among the most exported goods by Turkey to Azerbaijan from January to September 2019, the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly told Trend on Oct. 9.
The export of steel from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 8.95 percent and amounted to $85.570 million from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
"In September 2019, the export of Turkish steel to Azerbaijan increased by 33.92 percent and reached $10.765 million compared to September 2018," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
The export of cement from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 1.43 percent and reached $30.882 million from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
"Turkey exported leather goods worth $13.403 million to Azerbaijan from January to September 2019, which is 10.16 percent more compared to the same period of 2018," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
The export of Turkish electrical goods to Azerbaijan from January to September 2019 increased by 9.95 percent and reached $114.482 million compared to the same period of 2018.
"Turkey exported textile products worth $32.788 million to Azerbaijan from January to September 2019, which is 21 percent more compared to the same period of 2018," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
The export of Turkish goods to Azerbaijan increased by 5.52 percent and reached $1.112 billion from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
"The export of Turkish goods to Azerbaijan increased by 30.80 percent and reached $116.773 million in September 2019 compared to September 2018," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent and reached $32.181 billion in September 2019 compared to September 2018.
Turkey’s total trade turnover reached $286.419 billion from January to September 2019.
