Turkey announces volume of transshipment of goods from Lebanon by its ports

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. The ports of Turkey handled 507,144 tons of cargo from Lebanon from January through February 2022, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

According to the Ministry, ships flying the Turkish flag delivered 44,180 tons of cargo from Lebanon to local ports and ships flying the flags of other countries - 415,543 tons.

Ships flying the Lebanese flag delivered 47,421 tons of cargo to Turkish ports during this period.

Turkish ports handled 88,739 tons of transit cargo from Lebanon from January through February 2022.

The ports of Turkey handled 31.1 million tons of cargo in February 2022.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey through local ports amounted to 2.2 million tons during the specified period.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 28.8 million tons.

Turkish ports handled 6.2 million tons of transit cargo in February 2022.

Turkish ports handled 64.4 million tons of cargo from January through February 2022.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 4.6 million tons during the specified period.

Cargo transportation through the ports of Turkey by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 59.8 million tons.

Turkish ports handled 13.9 million tons of transit cargo from January through February 2022.

The ports of Turkey handled 386.3 million tons of cargo in 2021.

Cargo transportation by ships under the flag of Turkey amounted to 29.9 million tons during the specified period.
