Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania and the country's special representative for Caspian Sea Affairs, Ebrahim Rahimpour has started his official visit to Baku, Iran's Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend on March 12.
During the visit, Rahimpour will hold meetings with his Azerbaijani counterpart and other officials during which the prospects for development of cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.
It is expected that after visiting Baku, Rahimpour will visit Nakhchivan on March 15-16 and hold meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, Vasif Talibov and other officials.
