Azerbaijan has increased the number of people to be covered by the compulsory state dactyloscopic registration procedure.
This is envisaged by the changes to the law on "State dactyloscopic registration in Azerbaijan" to be discussed at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament Oct. 6.
In particular, in accordance with the change to the article 8 of the law, the compulsory dactyloscopic registration applies to the individuals to be deported from Azerbaijan, and the foreigners contained in the center of the illegal migrants and stateless people.
According to the current legislation, earlier, the compulsory dactyloscopic registration was not envisaged for foreigners contained in the center of illegal migrants and stateless people.
The bill was unanimously adopted by the Azerbaijani parliament.
