In an auction held Dec. 6 by Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Property Issues, 12 state properties were sold as part of a new privatization program, the committee said Dec. 6.
The privatized properties are located in Baku, Shirvan, Sabirabad and Saatli.
There are 5 vehicles among the privatized properties.
The next auction, to be held Dec. 13, will see 101 state-owned properties put up for privatization.
The third stage of privatization started as part of a decree of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on additional measures to improve the state property privatization process, dated May 19, 2016, as well as the president’s decree on some measures to improve the management efficiency and speed up the state property privatization process, dated July 19, 2016.
