The relevant issues of the Uzbek-Russian relations were included in the agenda of the foreign ministerial consultations in Tashkent on May 27, the Uzbek foreign ministry reported on May 28.
"Relevant issues on the Uzbek-Russian and regional agenda were discussed," according to the statement. "They exchanged views on some international issues."
It was stressed that the consultations were held in accordance with the cooperation program-2014 between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
A delegation headed by the director of the third department of the CIS member-states Alexander Sternik represented the Russian foreign ministry at the consultations.
Russian ambassador to Uzbekistan Vladimir Turdenev also attended the meeting.
