President Hassan Rouhani in a telephone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani described the terrorist groups as a serious obstacle to development of relations among regional states, IRNA reported.
"All regional countries are suffering from the issue of terrorism because the terrorist acts are in no way beneficial to states of the region and they are a big hurdle in the way of regional development and strengthening of relations among countries," President Rouhani said.
The Qatari emir, for his part, felicitated the Holy Month of Ramadan to Dr. Rouhani and asked him to convey his felicitations to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
"There might be differences of opinion in some issues, but the two countries are friend, brother and neighbor," Sheikh Tamim added.
