On 25 January 2014, the great composer and conductor of our times Ennio Morricone will make a spectacular concert in the Heydar Aliyev Palace. The concert will be oragnized by BUTA Art Center, with the sponsorship support of Fireland Vineyards and Nar Mobile as well as support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Italian Embassy in Azerbaijan, the company said today.

Nasib Piriyev, Director of the BUTA Art Center welcomed all the guests and spoke about concert in his introductory remarks at the opening of Press conference on 24 January. Speaking at the press conference, the world known composer Morricone expressed his joy of being in Baku: "I am happy that I have such honor to perform in this beautiful city of Baku. I would be also very glad if you would enjoy the concert and I hope that I will feel your love during the performance. Thank you everyone!"

Taking the floor at this event, Nar Mobile CEO Kent McNeley has described the concert as a memorable occasion in the cultural life of the country and underscored the importance attached by the mobile operator to the development of culture and art.

Winner and several time the nominee to Oscars, winner of Golden Globe, Golden Lion and Venice Film Festival, the maestro Ennio Morricone will give an unforgettable concert at the Heydar Aliyev Palace jointly with the Azerbaijani State Symphonic Orchestra n.a. uzeyir Hacibeyli and the Azerbaijani Choir. There will be over 200 musicians on the stage of the Heydar Aliyev Palace jointly with the maestro Morricone.

He has composed the music for more than 400 movies and series shot in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Russia and US. Among them, such movies as "Once Upon A Time in America", "Le Professionnel", "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Once Upon A Time in the West", "Malèna", "il Decamerone", "Lolita", "Kill Bill" and many others have become the masterpieces of the world's cinema art.
