Foreign Ministers of Iran and Sweden in a telephone conversation discussed the latest developments on nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1 and exchanged views on other regional issues, IRNA reported.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Saturday, Ali Akbar Salehi referred to the recent talks in Moscow and Iran's initiatives in that meeting and reaching agreement on holding expert meeting in Istanbul and necessity of using the opportunities by both sides and mutual efforts for reaching a conclusion.
Carl Bildt, for his part, referred to importance of upcoming negotiations and underlined necessity of solving the problem through political means.
The Swedish FM is among European political statesmen who usually support continuation of talks to settle Iran nuclear issues.
