Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept. 14 / Trend N.Kirtzkhalia /
Georgia and Switzerland have signed an agreement on facilitation of visa procedures. Agreement was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Pandjikidze and Swiss foreign minister Didier Burkhalter, Georgian MFA told Trend.
Georgian side is working on several more agreements, Pandjikidze noted.
"It was the first official visit to Switzerland after the embassy was opened here. It was saved up quite a lot of topics. I spoke all about this with my colleague and chairman of the parliament. Moreover, it is very important that we have signed an agreement on visa facilitation. There are still some agreements, working on which we surely have to complete. The Swiss side expects signing of some of them since 1999" - Panjikidze said.
