Russia has promised that its aircraft will not violate the Turkish airspace any more but it has not kept this promise, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, TRT Haber TV channel reported Nov. 27.

President Erdogan said during the G20 summit that he discussed the violation of the Turkish airspace by Russian aircraft.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin jokingly suggested Ankara to consider the first case of violating the airspace by Russian aircraft as "a visit of guests"," President Erdogan said. "But I said that Turkey does not expect uninvited guests."

Turkey-Russian relations deteriorated after the incident with the Russian Su-24 warplane, shot down by the Turkish Air Force Nov. 24.

Earlier, the Russian authorities accused Turkey that it buys oil from the IS terrorist organization.

Moreover, Russia urged Turkey to apologize after the incident with the Russian Su-24 warplane.

"Turkey will not apologize to Russia in connection with the incident," the president said.

President Erdogan said that Russia must apologize to Turkey.

"Ankara and Moscow are strategic partners," the Turkish president said. "But this does not mean that Russia must disrespect the Turkish border inviolability principle."
