NATO Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai will discuss preparations for the Chicago Summit scheduled for May of 2012 within his visit to South Caucasus in February, the spokesman of NATO Simone de Manso wrote Trend in an e-mail.
According to the source, Mr. Appathurai within his visit to Baku scheduled for Feb. 10 will meet with high-level government officials and discuss NATO-Azerbaijan cooperation in the lead up to the summit.
Moreover, Mr. Appathurai will visit Yerevan and discuss with high-level government officials the cooperation between NATO and Armenia in the lead up to the summit.
