Prof. Elkhan Nuriyev, the director of Strategic Research Centre at the Azerbaijani President, has been appointed Doctor of Political Science by the order of the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev.
The Centre is engaged in the analysis of regional and global processes, investigations into internal and foreign policy issues, researching of geopolitical issues, studies of socio-cultural development and other issues.
Nuriyev Elkhan Eldaroglu, 39, was born in Baku. In 1992, Nuriyev graduated with English and French languages at the Azerbaijani Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (now State University of Languages). In 1993, Nuriyev was educated in the Diplomatic Academy of Foreign Ministry of Pakistan, and German Institute named I.V.Gete in 2000.
Nuriyev worked in the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, George Washington University (US), Institute of International Research in Montero (US), International Centre Vudro Vilson (US) and Institute of World and Conflicts ( Germany). Nuriyev is a professor of Political Sciences and International Relations in West University in Baku.
