According to the information, under the state program "Cultural Heritage" University researchers studied the runic legends left by our ancestors 13,000 years ago.

Tuy-ukik (646 - 738) was a known Turkic warlord who, together with Khagan ("great king of kings") Elteris Kutlug opposed the Tang Empire and founded the II Gokturk Khaganate in 679. He was not only a brave leader but also advisor of three Khagans - Elteris Kutlug, Kapagan and Bilge Khagan. He participated in 22 crucial historic wars. Tuy-ukik monument was erected on the Tule River in Mongolia in 739.

Terkin's Monument covers the history of the United Turkic (Uighur) Khaganate's ruler El-etmish Bilge Tur-ayin (713-759). The text of the monument listed the Khagan's ancestors - Zhullag, Zhamy and Bumin khagan, as well as 80-year history of the Turkic Khaganate. There is also mentioned khaganate's area, sowing areas, wintering grounds, the location of the horde, the structure of Turkic ulus, military strength and well-known figures of those times. Monument Terkin was erected on the lake of Terkin in central Mongolia in 752.

Scientists of the Turkology and Altaic Institute released the main book of Turkic ethnicities - the first volume of the "Atlas of the Orkhon monuments," and distributed the book in 82 countries worldwide.

"Presently, the second volume is being prepared and developed an edition in three volumes "Atlas of the ancient Turkic heritage of the Southern Siberia," the university reported.

In addition, such scientific works as "United Turkic Khaganate" (2001), "Orkhon Heritage" (2003), "Genesis of Ancient Inscriptions" (2007) were released.
