Azerbaijani border guards inspected a Turkmen fishing vessel "Gunkhan" within control over navigation regime in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea near the Kapaz field, Azerbaijani State Border Service said.
Due to the fact that registration documents were not submitted, the vessel was detained and handed over officially to the ship of Turkmen Border Service Coast Guard to carry out the necessary procedures.
As the report released on Thursday says, the incident occurred on July 24.
The fishing vessel was inspected by a vessel of Coast Guard of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan in the central part of the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea in south-west of the Kapaz field.
