BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 5. It is prohibited to use the Lachin corridor for non-humanitarian purposes, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Trend reports.
"Armenia continues to violate the terms of the trilateral statement regarding the inappropriate use of the Lachin corridor. Since August 2022, more than 2,700 mines manufactured in 2021 in Armenia have been discovered and neutralized," Bayramov said.
He noted that a week ago, another territory where the mines were neutralized, was showed to the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, heads of the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center, and the number of military attachés of the embassies represented in Azerbaijan.
"This is a continuing violation of the trilateral statement, and, in fact, the continuation of military operations against Azerbaijan, as well as the use of the Lachin corridor for non-humanitarian purposes, which is prohibited," he added.
