The Azerbaijan’s Chamber of Auditors cancelled licenses of 2 auditing organizations and 5 independent auditors, the chairman of the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Vahid Novruzov said, Trend reports. According to him, the reason for that was detecting of violations in their activities.
Touching upon the mutual relations between the Chamber of Auditors and the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, Novruzov noted, there are no any discords between them. "We conduct auditing examinations together with them and there is no overlapping, as there is coordination in our work. At some organizations we carry out controls jointly with the Tax Ministry. Since 2003 we have an agreement with the Tax Ministry on cooperation”, he noted.
The chairman of the Chamber of Auditors reported also, that auditing checking-ups meet all the requirements. "Nobody can put under doubt the results of our inspections. There are about 55 organizations on rendering auditing services”, Novruzov said.
