All notions on economic inexpedience of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC) remained in history, Trend quotes Ingilab Ahmedov, head of Public Finances Monitoring Center.
Ahmedov says today the countries earlier doubted in BTC effectiveness and expedience, for instance Russia, Iran, Turkmenistan, are now interested in it.
В"The project implementation, firstly, will raise the BTC member-countries rating on the world scene, which means long-term and large incomesВ", he said.
The countries cooperation, in turn, means further creation of corridor for oil&gas and telecommunication transit, he underlined.
Ahmedov said the project implementation is boosted by such factors like Russias new energy policy and oil prices growth in world markets.
