Eleonora Houseynova, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, and head of the Azerbaijani Representation at UNESCO, exclusively informed Trend that Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, will hold meetings with a senior official of France in Paris during his state visit to the country.
In accordance to the initial program, during the state visit scheduled for January 29th to 31st, the Azerbaijani president will have meetings with the President, the Chairman of the National Assembly and the French Senate, as well as the Prime Minister. An official reception will be hosted at Elysee palace in honor of the Azerbaijani President with the participation of over 300 visitors Ms Houseynova informed.
During the visit to France President Aliyev does not plan to hold a meeting with UNESCO Secretary General, Koishiro Matzuura, who will be out of the country during this period.
