Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 September / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / Azerbaijan is the most stable and dynamically developing country in the region. This was said by Ramiz Mehtiyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and Chairman of the State Anti Corruption Commission in the international 'Role of transparency and struggle against corruption' conference in Baku.
The reforms result in the country depends on the efficiency and consecutive of struggle against corruption, said Mehtiyev.
The legal and institutional basis, which meets international standards, has been formed in Azerbaijan. In 2007, the national strategy to struggle against corruption was accepted and Azerbaijan joined all international conventions in this sphere.
In the report by the World Bank regarding the corruption rate Azerbaijan takes the 33rd place amongst 181 countries, said Mehtiyev.
