Azerbaijan will create a legal framework to make doctors answerable for their mistakes.
Issues such as the bearing administrative and judicial responsibility by doctors for their mistakes, will be reflected in the "Law on Patients' Rights", Azerbaijani Parliamentary Human Rights Committee member , MP Aytan Mustafayeva told Trend.
According to her, the law will also envisage patient's right to information, the prohibition of the use of any treatment without patient's consent.
The legislation of Azerbaijan, who joined the international convention on bioethics, should include issues such as artificial impregnation, rights of embryos, euthanasia, Mustafayeva said.
