IMF cuts Iran’s 2025 growth forecast sharply

The IMF has sharply cut its growth outlook for Iran, citing tighter sanctions and prolonged oil production cuts. With GDP projected to rise just 0.3% in 2025, the country is expected to lag well behind the broader MENA region.
