Azerbaijani construction company implements regional project in Central Asia

Azerbaijani Texno-Atinak LLC Construction Company engaged in laying water pipes and sewer lines is going to participate in the next regional project in Central Asia, official representative of the company in Uzbekistan told Trend.

Azerbaijani company already has a successful work experience in this country, the representative said.

"This will be the second project which the company is implementing in Uzbekistan. It is about laying water pipes and sewer lines in another region of Uzbekistan. In this direction, negotiations with the Uzbek side have been ongoing since the second half of this year. In the near future, we plan to choose the region where the project will be implemented. Currently, we are awaiting the results of the tender for which we submitted participation documents a couple of months ago. Next year, we plan to join the projects for laying water supply and sewer lines not only in the regions, but also in the cities of Uzbekistan," the representative said.

The company plans to complete the implementation of a large water and sewer project in the Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan in the next three months, the representative said.

"A project worth $12 million shall be commissioned in March 2020. Currently, the main part of construction work is completed. Within the framework of the project, 160 kilometers of polyethylene pipes are being laid, and 95 percent of the work has already been completed. The project is funded by the World Bank and the Government of Uzbekistan. Herein, 70 percent of the means accounts for the international financial institution; the remaining 30 percent was invested through the line of Uzbek state,” the company representative added.

The Texno-Atinak LLC Construction Company is also engaged in the rental of various equipment and technical means, including excavators, loaders, mobile and tower cranes and compressors for the implementation of infrastructure projects.

Texno-Atinak was established in 2011 to implement infrastructure projects in the region.
