Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 March / Trend corr. S.Aliyev / Repair work in hold by the Azerbaijani State Railway in sub-stations in the north-west direction lead to temporary stop of electric supply in the Agstafa region. There is no problem with run of diesel locomotives to Georgia, Railway Department reported.
According to the Azerenergy joint-stock company, there were problems with connection to high voltage nets and emergency equipment in sub-stations.
The main cargo is transported through the border of Georgia to Baku. This route is part of the Eurasian transport corridor, which is running via Azerbaijan. Oil, mineral oil and raw materials are transported through the route to Georgian ports Poti and Batumi.
