Azerbaijan, Baku, Feb. 6 / Trend , N.Ismayilova/
The land border was re-demarcated between Azerbaijan and Iran, Azerbaijani Land and Cartography State Committee Chairman Garib Mammadov said at a news conference at the Yeni Azerbaijan Party headquarters on Feb. 6.
"Several geodesic points were washed away after the Araz River overflowed. We had to re-demarcate the border as a result," Mammadov said.
The length and trajectory of the land border remains unchanged, he said.
The Azerbaijani-Iranian land border is 765 kilometers in length.
