Baku's primary housing market cheapens by 6 percent

Prices in the primary housing market of Baku fell by six percent since early 2010, CEO of the consulting company "MBA Group" Nusret Ibrahimov said.

The price decline in the primary housing market in September was by observed at 0.9 percent - from $ 790 per square meter in August to $783. Prices fell by six percent since early 2010 compared to the same period last year - by 7.1 percent.

Prices in the secondary of housing market of Baku declined by 2.8 percent - from $1,322 per square meter to $1,285. Prices fell by 5.9 percent since early 2010. Prices declined by 5.2 percent compared to the same period of 2009.

During the report period, prices in the commercial properties market rose by 0.6 percent - from $3,190 per square meter up to $3,210. Prices fell by 6.7 percent since early 2010 and by 6.6 percent over the year.

Prices in the land market of Baku slightly increased last month by 1.4 percent - from $16,080 per hundred square meters up to $16,310. Prices fell by 4.9 percent since early 2010 and by 8.4 percent over the year.
