The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry's National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) will select investment proposals from entrepreneurs looking to develop specific business sectors in the Lerik region.
An event was held to promote the contest for the local authorities and entrepreneurs. The project aims to ensure the efficient use of the region's economic capacity.
The event was held on Nov. 12 in Lerik and defined the following project priorities:
- The development of potato-growing and beekeeping (for the purpose of bee product industrial processing and packaging);
- The creation of an enterprise for beverage production meeting modern standards.
The NFES will receive proposals via authorized credit organizations.
The project is implemented under a program to provide state assistance to entrepreneurship in the country's regions.
