Over 35,000 new enterprises created in Azerbaijan for last seven years

Successful implementation of state programs in Azerbaijan over the last seven years created about 900,000 new jobs and over 35,000 new enterprises, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov said within the scientific-practical conference.

He said that the state programs contributed to accelerating the development of non-oil sector, as well as more investments in the economy.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development held a scientific-practical conference on "State support of entrepreneurship in the regions: achievements and priorities" in Sabirabad on December 25. Roughly 120 entrepreneurs, employees of state agencies and representatives of scientific and educational enterprises attended the conference.
