Annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 10 months equals 8.3 percent

In October, prices for consumer goods and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan did not change compared to September; however, in January-October, prices and tariffs increased by 8.3 percent against the respective period of 2010, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Thursday.

In October, prices for foods increased by 0.1 percent, prices for non-food produces increased by 0.4 percent, and tariffs for services decreased by 0.5 percent.

As compared to January-October 2010, prices for foods increased by 11.1 percent, prices for non-food produces increased by 2.7 percent, and tariffs for services increased by 4.6 percent.
In October, the basic consumer prices index calculated with fruit and vegetables prices and state-regulated prices excluded increased by 0.3 percent against the previous month and, as compared to January-October 2010, grew by 5.8 percent.
