Uzbek products, industrial, tourism and investment potential were demonstrated in India, the press service of the Foreign Trade Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The exhibition of national products 'Made in Uzbekistan' was organized in the city of New Delhi (India) in the framework of the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The event was organized by the State Committee on Investments, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Foreign Trade Ministry, and the Uzexpocenter national exhibition complex.
The large-scale exposition covered the automotive and engineering industries, electrical engineering, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, the mining sector, construction materials, the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan and the food industry, textile, leather and footwear industries, folk arts and crafts, tourism.
Stands with natural exhibits showcased to potential Indian partners and consumers cotton, knitted fabrics and products; leather and haberdashery products, wood and ceramic products, embossing, enamelware, mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, potash and phosphorus), chemical fibers (acrylic tow, fiber), plastic wrap, plastic pipes, chemical plant protection products, rolled ferrous metals, copper and brass, insulation materials, tungsten and molybdenum.
The stands also featured fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, melons and gourds, wine and vodka products, as well as juices, beverages, canned foods, vegetable oil, mayonnaise, ketchup and other products.
