Kazakhstan's international reserves exceed $86.3B

The volume of Kazakhstan’s international reserves in September 2018 decreased by 0.79 percent compared to August, amounting to $86,354 billion, Kazakh media reported referring to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Compared to December 2017, the decline amounted to 3.06 percent. Meanwhile, the volume of gross international reserves of Kazakhstan in September decreased by 1.58 percent (by 2.33 percent since the beginning of the year) to $30,028 billion.

Net international reserves amounted to $29.536 billion, decreasing by 1.59 percent (2.31 percent since the beginning of the year), and the volume of assets of Kazakhstan National Fund decreased by 0.37 percent (3.44 percent since the beginning of the year) to $56.326 billion.

Meanwhile, the volume of assets in freely convertible currency made up $17.277 billion, which was a decrease of 2.33 percent compared to the previous month (5.32 percent since December last year).

The volume of assets in gold decreased by 0.54 percent to $12,751 billion. However, this is an increase of 2.03 percent since the beginning of the year.
